In Clouds by Ripsime: Review

“In Clouds” is a pop and RnB track by soulful artist Ripsime. It’s an intriguing combination of electro-pop and jazzy vocals that merge sensationally. The rhythm sections remind me of neon disco nights and slow dancing with that special someone while an emotional bond forms. This is primarily because of Ripsime’s ultra-soft voice and the passionate instrumentals that follow her.

A funky introduction kept me hooked on the melody of “In Clouds.” Groovy basslines blended with eccentric beats, and set the stage for Ripsime’s vocals to rise. Her musical prowess is impressive, and I was moved by each segment of her track. Aside from that, there are a few psychedelic elements in the song that I admired and kept coming back to. A trippy guitar section with wah-wah effects elevated the final sections of the piece, and it was otherworldly. In addition, the basslines were equally psychedelic and played out like a silky-smooth record. These aspects were fascinating to absorb, and Ripsime’s vocal chops were the cherry on top. Whenever she sang, the track’s essence sparked, and the aura was tough to ignore. A wave of cadence hits you, and the singer’s charm is a comforting experience to have.
