Mechanical Heart by Kick Pistol: Review
Kick Pistol are a remarkable Alternative rock band from the UK. Their sound pays homage to classic bands of the genre such as Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead, and Muse. These giants are the all-time greats of the biz, and I’m a long-time fan of their music. Thus, it excites me to hear fresh music coming out of the alternative rock space from time to time. This brings us to “Mechanical Heart” a resonant piece from Kick Pistol, and its cadence will vibe with your very soul, I tell you.
A rhythmic bond of guitars, basslines, keys, and drums forms the base of “Mechanical Heart.” Each instrument has a role to play, and its presence keeps the nature of the track in its place. The chemistry is effortless, and it just feels like the best of friends jamming out together and implementing unique musical ideas. This notion is backed up by Kick Pistol’s moving performance on the track. Firstly, the verse leads with a deep bass-covered narrative and then progresses with soft keys. Eventually, when the guitar joins the melody, the tempo is heightened and the cadence is pretty intriguing. Furthermore, when the crescendo hits, a gripping guitar solo emerges and fades into a slower synth-infused segment.
Alternative rock is one of the most influential genres in my upbringing, I believe it’s the same for any aspiring musician. With that being said, please don’t miss out on this delightful rock piece. Kick Pistol are definitely going places with their song “Mechanical Heart.”
