Indigo by Vanda: Review

โIndigoโ is a chill indie-pop tune by Vanda. Her voice calms your nerves, and the rhythms accompanying her do just the same. Encompassing a bedroom pop and LoFi outfit, the track has acoustic layers with soothing beats.
Indie pop is one such genre where the โdream-likeโ sounds have an emphasis. Itโs what separates the genre from other facets of indie. Aside from that, lofi and electronica also blend right in with the genre, and thatโs what makes Vandaโs song โIndigoโ truly precious. Hearing it on repeat got me hooked on its cadence, especially her soft voice. It captivates your soul and is even more heightened when the instruments join her ode. Each passage feels peaceful to hear, primarily due to the trackโs lofi melody and laid-back aura. You can easily vibe out to Vandaโs piece on a hot summerโs day by your bedroom window and let the passing breeze hit you. While at it, grab your ideal smoothie and have a great time while hearing โIndigo.โ Man, I could use a smoothie right now too.
I had such a wonderful experience hearing โIndigo.โ What impressed me the most was how well each instrument came together as a whole and bonded with Vandaโs soulful voice. It may sound simple folks, but trust me thatโs a challenging thing to accomplish as a musician. One instrumentโs take may not align with the chorus, and youโve gotta start all over again! The frustration is real, yet itโs what makes this line of biz a worthwhile journey, and Iโm glad to have come across Vandaโs one.
