OIEE breaks the rules of audience engagement with their trailblazing new live show, “INTRO & MARATHON (Live at Trafo).” Captured live at the esteemed Trafo venue in Hungary and released on March 15, the show leaves no stone unturned to create an enthusiastic and innovative musical environment that becomes all the more anthemic and wild with harmonies and electronics like never before heard.
The show made itself endearing like no other right from the beginning by giving power to the Trafo audience and letting their favorite music be integrated into the show’s music. Natural for a show, first we are greeted with edgy synths making way from amongst the spectator chatter, which gradually hush to allow the song to build slowly. As the show progresses, gentle layered melodies emerge, rippling in elegant pulses. With each passing moment, the volume steadily elevates with rhythmic enigmatic beats and glitchy texture to bite into, imbuing the track with a sense of urgency and momentum.
Vocal chanting emerges and further enhances the performance’s intriguing and humanizing factor. As the show graduates to “MARATHON,” The vocal performance awes us with the warmth amidst the cool shimmering music. The lyrics, being directed with powerful vocals, turn the whole show’s atmosphere towards something more anthemic, empowering, and uplifting.
