‘I’m Available to You’ by Crockett is enchanting, melodic, and smooth; it pays homage to the Carlis Moody original, which Rev. Milton Brunson and The Thompson Community Choir recorded in 1988. With an emphasis on the instrumental components, such as a slick bass accompaniment, smooth drums, and a reverent organ, it builds on the foundation of the original. Crockett completes his original rendition by fusing the classic melody with complex, contemporary harmonies that have become increasingly common over the past ten years using slick background vocals. This song, according to the Oklahoma City transplant, is “my expression of gratitude to God for the many provisions He has made for me throughout my entire life. Whether they call Him God, Yeshua, or a Higher Power, I wanted others to share in that feeling with me.”
‘I’m Available to You’, Crockett’s eagerly anticipated follow-up to his acclaimed debut album ‘Guess Who’, is now available. Following the debut of ‘Guess Who’, Crockett traveled and appeared as a featured artist and sought-after musician at numerous festive and religious events across the country. For this follow-up effort, Crockett, who is well known for his unrepentant, church-curated style on the organ, collaborates with some of his peers in keeping with his distinctive styling.
