John Jones a.k.a. The Jones releases Uplifting New Track ‘Need You’

The Book of John Pt. 1, an album by recording artist John Jones that blends gospel music with soul, will be available soon. John Jones pioneers new territory with this album by producing inspirational music that isn’t “holier-than-thou.” He thinks that everyone on Earth is a sinner and that we are all still works in progress, or W.I.P. This endeavor, according to John, is “inspirational music for sinners.” The album’s opening track is titled “W.I.P.” The song, which combines R&B and Hip Hop, is John’s personal testimony about his faith.
“Praying Mothers,” an upbeat gospel song that honors mothers everywhere, is the album’s second track. This song honors John’s mother, who passed away this year on Valentine’s Day.
John collaborates once more with platinum-selling producer Chiba Antoine on the songs “Hold On” and “Yearbook.” John sings about the displaced people in New Orleans in the song “Hold On.” Those who relocated as a result of Hurricane Katrina and have not yet arrived back. Another individual expression of hope and faith is “Hold On.” Preston Fullwood has also collaborated on the album. For more than ten years, John and Preston have been penning and recording R&B songs.
“To enter heaven, each of us must complete a lot of work. Even pastors have work to do. I find it annoying when gospel performers act as though they have already entered heaven. That is precisely what drives people away from church and the Bible. I want everyone who reads The Book Of John Pt. 1 to feel welcomed. We are all in the same situation, so feel free to come as you are. God loves the preacher as much as he loves the sinner or the weak person. Nobody should ever feel unprepared to enter the Lord’s house.” -Johnson Jones.
