Virginia-born rapper, producer, and creative visionary Ninemansion reaches new heights with his 17-track album Kamioso: Ascended, released October 17, 2025, a futuristic trap odyssey inspired by Boruto: Two Blue Vortex.
This record is a narrative of transformation, a coming-of-age tale told through cybernetic beats, introspective lyricism, and cosmic ambition. Ninemansion (real name Nicholas Jones) calls this his ascension phase, mirroring Boruto’s evolution beyond legacy, the moment when struggle becomes strength and identity becomes purpose.
Crafted under his independent MansionMuzik label, Kamioso: Ascended blends anime-inspired mythos with real-world emotion, exploring heartbreak, defiance, and transcendence through a lens both human and otherworldly.
The opener, “Resonance,” sets the tone immediately with a storm of heavy, immersive drones layered beneath Ninemansion’s smooth, nasal-toned flow. His delivery glides between quick bursts and melodic transitions, building tension and release with every bar. It’s hypnotic, atmospheric, and full of that late-night drive energy. By the time “Everlast” arrives, the album bursts into full cinematic mode. Its gritty, glittering beats pulse like strobe lights as shimmering synths swirl above. The rapper’s verses take a more tender turn, appreciating his “shawty” in fleeting, grounded, and galactic glimpses.
“Shotgun” cleans up the soundscape with glimmering percussion and clean bass pulses, a tight, sharp, and emotionally distant track that hits like neon through mist. Finally, “Tear” closes the album on a euphoric note, anchored by deep basslines and luminous melodies that push forward like ascension itself. His voice grows more vulnerable here.
Overall, Kamioso: Ascended feels like the musical equivalent of leveling up. It’s an emotional, cinematic journey through pain and renewal, threaded together by Ninemansion’s unmistakable futuristic trap aesthetic.
