Labirinto by Giudi: Review

Giudi’s “Labirinto” is a minimal yet exotic electronic dance music track that captures the intensity of New York City in the summertime. The track isn’t very long but can captivate nonetheless. Giudi’s performance leaves quite an impression, and the mood that the artist creates is simply remarkable.

In “Labirinto”, Giudi provides a very passionate vocal performance. Her voice has a sultry aspect, and the accompanying music has a deep electro-bass sound. The instrumentation provides a very sophisticated base for the artist to perform on. In addition, it also delivers that melodic punch that is tough to resist. After listening to the tune and doing some in-depth analysis, I was able to better understand the transitions. The vibrations of the bass become more enticing and have a kick to them as the electronica parts go from a slower pace to a faster one throughout the song.

Guidi investigates the intertwining paths and inner turmoil that exists between your physical body and spirit in her newest single, “Laberinto,” which translates to “labyrinth.” It was a natural evolution for her to perform this dark and mysterious reggaeton single in Italian as she is based in South Italy. As an artist who is full of surprises, this was a natural progression for her. I believe the track made a strong impression on me and was absolutely filled with a lot of heart.
