Let Go by Wylam Dene: Review

Not too long ago, I was stuck in a loop of some negative incidents that brought me immense trouble, and I was finding it really hard to live through another day. A huge part of me wanted to move past it, but something kept me away. That’s when I found Wylam Dene’s single “Let Go,” which is an eye-opening contemporary piece.
The song gradually induces serenity, within its pop sound, with its acoustic guitar, full of gentle ebbs and flows. The first part conjures images of waves lapping at the shore as the sun rises slowly over the horizon and birds soar above. Dene’s gentle folk vocals start out whispering, and then his voice brightens a difficult circumstance by drawing you into the chorus.
Here’s a verse from the track –
“You keep on falling behind like a lost soul,
Blaming the universe for you never taking control,
But that’s life, that’s life.
And no one ever makes it out alive“
It’s like Wylam reached out to me and gave me a dose of reality about not trusting myself to take control, yet I’d continue to blame the world.
This is the perfect tune to listen to if you’re in need of a break from the chaos of the outside and to escape the world’s turmoil. With each breath you take, your spirit will be uplifted as the negative energy escapes you.
