Lorna Shore Releases Monstrous New Song โSun/Eaterโ and Announces New Album โPain Remainsโ
Lorna Shore was one of the yearโs biggest breakout bands thanks to theโฆAnd I Return to Nothingness EP, and theyโve now announced the Pain Remains album alongside the release of the pummeling new track โSun/Eater,โ building on that momentum.
โIt seems like a rebirth of everything for us,โ says drummer Austin Archey, who is clearly thrilled to give Lorna Shore fans more than the three new songs that came with last yearโs album, which also served as an introduction for vocalist Will Ramos.
โWeโre ecstatic to be able to release something new and different that shows who weโve become as individuals and as a group,โ Ramos adds. โThis song/album really brings everything together that weโve been working towards, and we canโt wait to share it with you all.โ
Lorna Shore is one of the forerunners of a new type of deathcore, and on โSun/Eater,โ the band continues to hone their art with a beguiling mix of vast orchestration, lightning-fast speeds, Ramosโ jaw-dropping range of harsh vocals, and bone-cracking breakdowns.
Listen to the song below, and watch for Pain Remains on Century Media sometime in October (no official release date has been locked in yet). These gigs are part of a tour with Suicide Silence, Carnifex, and others.
