Love?? by Jadamarie: Review
The LA-based multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter and producer Jadamarie sings about the state of confusion that follows a breakup in her new dreamy single, โLove??โ.
Sticking to her mantra of turning pain into musical joy, Jadamarieโs new single Love?? is a dreamlike immersive song to completely delve yourself into. Starting with arpeggiated piano chops backed by ethereal vocal harmonies and alt hip-hop or trap beats, the song creates a dreamlike atmosphere that immediately captivates the listener with its vibe. Jadamarieโs calm, dreamy vocals are absolutely delightfully relaxing to listen to. Throw in the groovy melodious bass, you have a song to get lost into.
The song is a brilliant amalgamation of dream pop, hip-hop, soul, and jazz. Being the vocalist, pianist, guitarist and producer of the song herself, the song highlights her brilliance in all of these facets. She really took the theme of the dreadful state of confusion after a breakup and managed to make it sound dreamy with her ethereal voice and excellent composition skills. It would be a disservice to say it was just skills, you can really tell itโs an extension of her personality from the fact that she really had fun with it. You can tell that by the chill composition of the song and also by the giggle.
