Matt Pelt released notable new song ‘Cry Holy’
During a church service he was leading, a spontaneous moment of worship led to the creation of ‘Cry Holy’. He thought that the chorus was a gift from the Lord, who later gave him the rest of the song. Very little of the writing credit for this song goes to Matt. God did the rest while he only held the pen.
Matt Pelt developed a love for the local church and songwriting after more than ten years of leading worship there. After years of writing, Matt made the decision to begin pursuing a dream that God had long since placed in his heart. Matt Pelt has prioritized worship music throughout his musical career, but don’t be surprised if he incorporates a few other genres as well. Although he has captured the hearts of music fans from all walks of life, his main objective is to exalt God in all things.
