Rita Over released enthralling new song ‘Rough Diamond’
Rita Over, a singer/songwriter, released ‘Rough Diamond’ on January 6th, her second single in the previous six months.
A single from the UK native was released in 2019, but Rita’s two most recent singles, ‘Rough Diamond’ and the September 2022 release, ‘New Chapter’, demonstrate her prowess as a songwriter.
The solo singer/catchy songwriter’s new single, ‘Rough Diamond’, is about how “no one is ever perfect, so there’s always something you can work on.” People can sometimes appear flawless on the outside but have flaws inside, she continues, just like diamonds. Rita claims that in addition to writing more, she is looking forward to getting ready for and taking part in upcoming live performances.
A new performance video is in the works, and Rita is promoting ‘Rough Diamond’ on social media. A new lyric video for the song is already available on YouTube. In 2022, Rita made the trip to New York City to record with the company’s producer/songwriter Alex Houton. All of the major music streaming and download services, including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, and ‘Rough Diamond’, ‘New Chapter’, and others, are all available.
