Mercy by Bloodlin3: Album Review

Bloodlin3 are bonafide veterans in the hip-hop realm. Their lyrical flow and rap essence are thrilling to hear, and this is because of such talented artists at the mic. From fast-paced bars to gripping storytelling the musicians have a sensational 90’s hip-hop-themed album titled “Mercy.” Each track is tailor-made for any rap fan to enjoy, and sing along with the lyrics as they excite your soul.
From the gangsta rap anthem “Execution Day” we get a glimpse of Bloodlin3’s enthusiastic lyrical flow. Joined by a thumping percussion and artists Bizzy Bone and AC Killer, this fantastic piece brings in the drive of 90s hip-hop. With a powerful instrumental flow and evocative lyricism, the album continues on to even bigger hits. Young Collage joins in on the cadence of “Panic Attack.” It’s straight-up a masterpiece in swift rap performances, and sends a jolt to your body, raising your energy levels instantly.
Tracks like “I Understand” remind me how darn well RnB blends with Hip-hop. Bloodlin3 invites along sensational musicians Jaelyn E and Samantha for a rhythmic bond made of pure gold. The poetic aspects are also very intense and make you ponder upon the messages instilled on the track. Apart from that, the instrumental aspects are enriching to hear. A gentle piano joins saxophone fillers for a stunning melodic delivery.
