Midnight Masquerade by Kit Citrine is 45 minutes of pure gold, where she portrays a powerful indie pop sound with emotional lyrical poetry that seem like a peek out of her personal diary.
The first track is the title song, where melodious yet powerful vocals set a revolutionary tone to the album. This proceeds to a collection of romantic articulations, and experimental tones. Some of her more magical numbers on the album are “Stardust”, “Astonishing Autumn”, “Celestial Goddess” and even “One Day We’ll Get Away” which is a dreamscape of a track in a melodious flow of rhythm and minimal backdrop. One thing that’s surprising about “Midnight Masquerade” is the random kick of elements. You’ll know what I’m talking about when a robotic tune in “The Robot Graveyard” comes up and the jazzy vibe of the way “You Should Be Proud” starts. With so many surprising elements, Kit Citrine continues to master each track, showcasing her massive vocal range, touching high scales, and belting with as much power as she holds in the low to mid keys.
I’m honestly marveling at this gem of a find because Kit Citrine is jaw-dropping, and my new favorite bi-icon within the community of up-and-coming artists! If you’re feeling the vibe, then you have to check out her album “Midnight Masquerade” right now.
