Moe Killed My Cool release flaming new song ‘Caffeine Overdose’
Moe Killed My Cool, a Canadian band from Southern Ontario, is making waves with their second single, ‘Caffeine Overdose’, which was available on streaming services from November 14. The group can be categorized as DIY Noise because of the way their self-recorded music blends lush textures influenced by 5th Wave Emo, Alternative Rock, and Punk Rock with obnoxious-sounding fuzz and ear-rattling feedback. The band’s wide range of influences, which include artists like Sunny Day Real Estate, Free Throw, Modern Baseball, and Dinosaur Jr., create a distinctive sound that is explored in their two most recent albums. The band started in 2019 just before the Global Pandemic shut down the world, giving them the chance to continue writing and creating new music.
Next year, the group will release an EP that includes ‘Caffeine Overdose’ and a number of previously unreleased songs that they have been working hard to get out to the public.
