Tende Kasha gives you the best of reggae tainted by deceit in his latest single, “Mr Liar.” released this January 20

While reggae is hypnotic in itself, Kasha’s raspy, sultry voice is all the more intriguing as a unique selling point and makes for a treat for our ears. Combined with his heartfelt narrative of introspection and redemption, he shows that contagious melodies and sincere confessionals can go side by side.

From the outset, “Mr Liar” draws us in with its hypnotic reggae rhythm, infused with Kasha’s unique musical style and soulful vocals. With the guitar enchantingly plucked, the song opens, glinting with steely chords. The percussion sparkles as he keeps us at his pace and traces the aftermath of the narrator’s own dishonesty in love. As the guitar riffs and the beats fall snappily, they are locked in sync to create a catchy, groovy, and hypnotic reggae rhythm, compelling us to nod our heads in rhythm.

Throughout the song, Kasha’s storytelling prowess shines as he sings with a laidback accentuation and sincere misery trailing in his vocals. There is much desperation for love amidst the defeated resignation as he acknowledges his faults and the pain he has caused his lover.

As the song progresses, Kasha delves deeper into the struggle to change ingrained habits and behaviors.

His debut album “INNER TUNE” was released in 2017 and before he released his single Shinning Star in 2021, he released another single titled “Peace n Love”, in 2020.
