No More Limits by Amanda Xenia Shakti and Love Power the Band: Review

Amanda Xenia Shakti is a talented singer whose voice transcends into a meditative state in this fresh track entitled “No more Limits”, which is also led by the talented folks of Love Power the Band. It’s a clean, indie, progressive tune, that will truly guide listeners on a path to enlightenment. The music is quite minimal with piano and synths, added with some catchy percussion as well. Once you hear the sound of Amanda’s voice, you will truly appreciate the art that these musicians have displayed.

There’s a genre of music called new age music, and it’s all about relaxing compositions, mostly instrumental pieces by virtuoso musicians. But, there are also voice elements involved, and I believe Amanda’s vocal range with Love Power the Band falls under that category. The synth is quite driven with long intervals, and Amanda’s voice is based on partly lyrical form and partly vocal spreads. It’s a joy to listen to and overall the production is magnificent because it feels like a fresh take with not too many layers. They kept it simple but left it up in a way that each instrument has a place of its own.

It is a trance-like state that Ananda and Love Power the Band attempt to incorporate into this track. She explains that the songs are meant to bless and inspire the listener by recognizing the divine spark within each individual. The music of Love Power the Band encourages its listeners to live in the moment through song and dance, and open their ears to a certain “cosmic truth”.
