Not The End by Strangely Alright: Review
Drawing inspiration from the diverse and eccentric 60s soundscape, including elements of pop, rock, and psychedelic music, the band Strangely Alright has gloriously returned to preach the โLove always winsโ type of message in a thrilling new single called โNot The Endโ which sounds supremely skilled.
Delivering in spades, this fantastic song manages to draw inspiration from a wide variety of classic and alternative rock acts that weโve enjoyed over the years while also offering something entirely new and original to the genre. Killer riffs, an understated speed that seems twice as fast as it is, and choruses youโll want to sing along to. The lead guitarsโ echoed distortion and the bassโs constant driving beat are evocative of a late-1990s/early-2000s alternative hard rock song, lurching from dissonance to harmony and back again. This might become a quick favorite as you canโt help but nod to its infectious chorus! The trackโs great segmentation helps to keep listeners thoroughly hooked, as it builds in a positively euphoric manner, keeping you on the edge of your seat until the guitar comes in for an intense solo. The repeating vocal line works nicely, and the double chorus at the end with panned extra vocalists helps keep the thrill going.
Strange as it may seem, โStrangely Alrightโ is quickly rising to the top of my list of preferred bands if Iโm in need of a crushing hit so be sure to check them out!
