Odyssey by Hounds Haul: Review
Powerful rock band Hounds Haul lets out a roar of emotions in their track “Odyssey.” It’s a great post-punk song with fiery guitar parts and intense vocal parts that bring it to life. Take it from me, folks: once you hear the presence of the guitar riffs, your senses will be drawn, and within moments, a frenzy will take hold of you. Hold on though, ‘cause it’ll elevate when the drums pound in like thunder.
“Odyssey” is the type of rock song that turns heads, you’ll grasp my impression once the opening synth-rock section graces your ears. It packs quite a punch, and just one minute into the song, you’ll feel a wave of energy through your body. I mean, why wouldn’t it? When you’ve got such a charismatic singer at the helm, nothing but ecstasy fills your soul. Aside from that, the instrumental bits are simply top-notch. The drummer is an absolute beast and does not waste a single moment striking a groove. It has a weight to “Odyssey” that Hounds Haul captured perfectly as a band.
Hounds Haul was founded in Buckinghamshire in late 2019 as the result of years of work by the band’s frontman, Adam Bosworth. Adam sought out like-minded musicians to assist in bringing his work to reality rather than pursuing the endeavor on his own. Eventually, a stunning band was shaped by the likes of Jamie Smith on bass, Rien De Keyser on keys and synths, and Alex Ablett leading the guitar.
