Out on a Whim by Pirritu: Review
Having a bad week? Maybe you need a dose of sunshine in the form of a happy melody! Fortunately, Pirritu arrives with his uplifting folk and soul track titled “Out on a Whim”. The piece is filled with delicate rhythm sections and incorporates an optimistic sensation.
The beauty of the song is in Pirritu’s playful and charming voice. Along with that, the magic of the instrument’s strumming pattern truly blooms into a nice and warm melody. It sounds like the mandolin, but I’m sure there’s a bit of guitar and probably ukulele in there too. “Out on a Whim” manages to dazzle listeners with folksy sequences that can be a vibrant addition to a playlist for travelers. Something about the acoustic nature of the track reminds you of green pastures and open roads!
“Out on a Whim” by Pirritu is a very special and wholesome number. Particularly, in its crescendo, the choir pieces are a remarkable sequence brightening up the track. The artist’s soulful voice blends beautifully with the stringed instrumentation. He has this whole vibe going on where it feels like Americana meets Jason Mraz, and the tone is a very interesting listen. Above all, there’s a hint of storytelling in Pirritu’s vocal style. This is especially the case in the verse sections. Trust me, music sounds much more enticing and meaningful when the energy matches the lyrical potency. Such is the tale pertaining to “Out on a Whim”!
