Peace Like Snow by Cynthia Angelica: Review
A perfect holiday single, ‘Peace Like Snow’ by Cynthia Angelica, is here to make the holidays merrier. Cynthia Angelica, a spiritual pop singer, and songwriter has always been fascinated by language and how small changes in diction, volume, stress, and context can produce vastly different meanings. After more than a decade as an executive ghostwriter, Cynthia Angelica turned to music as a means of rediscovering her identity; the result was her debut album, Fears and Dreams. Cynthia Angelica, a native of Maryland who came from a small town, discovered her calling in music. She credits her upbringing in the Black church, where she heard gospel greats like Richard Smallwood, Kirk Franklin, and CeCe Winans, for introducing her to the transformative power of music at an early age.
The infectious music will have you humming along in no time, and Cynthia Angelica’s gifted soothing voice never fails to leave the audience with chills down their spines. The foundation of this music’s relaxing quality is sturdy vocals paired with lovely melodies that exude an upbeat and positive spirit. It is highly recommended to try out ‘Peace Like Snow’ by Cynthia Angelica if you need a calming, rhythmically stable soundtrack. A great many musicians have been inspired to perform their renditions of ‘Hark! The Herald Angels Sing’ by Boney M.’s original track. The piano accompaniment enhances the performance and leaves the audience with a deeper sense of the performer’s mastery of the song, immediately reconnecting the listeners with the wonders of Christmas. The song is a holiday staple, that’s for sure.
