Pierre de Frebourg released captivating new song ‘La forêt brûle’
In his own way, Pierre has also unintentionally contributed to the current environmental catastrophe. He went to take advantage of a few days in the lovely month of May 2022 to take in the Arcachon basin, the Pilat dune, the tip of Cap Ferret, and the nearby oyster villages… There was harmony with nature, peace, and all things beautiful. Like you, he heard about the devastating Gironde (region of the French south-west) fires two months later on the radio. There, he realized not only how much was disappearing but also how insane our ecocide policies were.
So yes, in his song ‘La forêt brûle’, he settles some personal scores by creating fictional characters that are inspired by his own professional or personal history. However, he does not overlook his personal accountability in the age of global warming. He immediately recorded the song as a draft after writing it in August.
On Saturday, October 29, he went to Paris to finish the self-produced production in the studio. He put everything into it in the hopes that the audience will appreciate the outcome and the message it serves. He expresses gratitude to Céline, his singing instructor, Hervé Louradour, an Andy Summers fan who signed the guitar arrangements, and Camille, a sound engineer.
