Planter by 1st Base Runner: Review
โPlanterโ by 1st Base Runner is a thought-provoking and visually aesthetic song with mystery and an atmosphere that will surprise the masses. The audio arrangement of the track is quite emotional and has depth. As a musician myself, I truly enjoy listening to a song that shows the uniqueness of an artist. Hence, their own persona is expressed through melody. Thatโs beautiful man, gotta say!
โPlanterโ is one of those songs, that you must hear on repeat. This is because each time, it will feel more refreshing. The singerโs voice is very intense, and he nails every note. All the instruments in the song are accompanied by a constant bass guitar, some guitars, and a heavy dose synth. Near the end of the song, the artist invokes a sentimental verse where he mostly speaks the words and screams a bit more than singing it. Man, that portion was truly filled with tension and drama, my applause goes towards the artist!
Tim Husmann, a singer-songwriter and producer from Texas, is the creator of 1st Base Runner, and itโs a doozy! The progressive musician incorporates elements of shoegaze, alternative music, and dream pop into songs that are heavy with genuine feelings and experiences. Husmann was born in Amarillo but has spent most of his adult life in Austin. From the isolated studio on his property, he composes tunes that express the paradoxes of human existence.
