Right off the bat, “Our Song” grabs you with writhing strings, haunting vocals, and a dual-layer of emotional intensity. The way the male lead coolly glides over the melody while the female harmonies shimmer in the background is cinematic. And when those drums pick up and the urgency rises, it’s a slow-burn payoff that makes you press repeat without even thinking.
Fast forward to “Maria” and suddenly we’re in the middle of a heartfelt school-crush confession, but with enough emotional depth and musical flourish to make it feel like a love letter to first love itself.
