Primeval By Numeral: EP Review
Organic, exhilarating, transcendent: these are the words used by Swiss drummer and producer Philippe Adam to characterize his project number, a sonic realm of rumbling sub-basses, creative audio design, and at times dismal and dystopian environments. Meticulous electronic music combines beat-driven electronica and colorful ambient. While working as a drummer for numerous Swiss indie electronic bands Numeral has gradually developed his own producing processes and sound aesthetic.
If you’re a fan of modern dance music, you’ll surely love the Primeval EP by Numeral. The ep’s cover art is a perfect example of this artist’s unique style. The EP was released this year. Despite the short length of the songs in the album, they do not neglect the essential melodies in their tracks. While the artist’s songwriting is impressive, the production is clean and loose. Its sound is a great fit for EDM lovers. The Artist’s creatively stitches the influences with modern songwriting sensibilities.
Whether you’re looking for a new EDM artist or a good place to find some new music to enjoy, you will find something for everyone on this new Primeval Numeral EP. The 6 songs in the EP are known for their ability to interweave many musical textures and to explore several moods. Listening to these songs can improve concentration.
Marauder is the first song in the album. It’s important to note that Marauder have a great deal of potential, and this artist should be given every opportunity to prove it. You will surely enjoy the aural ep. Anthropo which is the second song in the EP is an outstanding piece of work. There is a good balance of hardcore hints and primal energy on the EP. The Primeval EP by Numeral is a definite must-have for your collection.
Following the release of his debut ep “numeral” (2020, Irascible Music), the single collaboration “Landing” with Bristol producer Brecon, and numerous remixes for Swiss and international artists, numeral has collaborated with Swiss electronic label “Blizzard Audio Club” to release his second ep “Primeval” in early Summer 2022.
