Prison by Tess Anderson: Review
“Prison” is a superb pop-rock song by Tess Anderson that is bound to excite a vast audience. There’s a sensational tone in this track that arrives from energetic guitar bits and a lovely singer at the mic. Hearing each melody will grip you, and once you get a taste of Tess’s tune “Prison” you’d be hooked on its catchy beat.
Playing the guitar in a certain way can totally alter a song’s appeal. I found Prison’s strumming style to have a funky edge and Dylan Lammie led that charge. A close friend of Tess, the guitarist had a nice flow going that was brilliant to follow. It kept the track upbeat and instilled a strong groove. Apart from that, Jeremiah Gowen provided the bass arrangement for the tune, which provided a solid balance. The bassist also engineered and produced “Prison”, and the final result is immensely polished. I found the song to be a blend of early 2000s pop-rock hits, evident from its emotional lyrics and rhythm facets. Within that regard, the clarity of each instrument is felt and it connects with Tess’ sweet voice excellently.
The chorus sections in “Prison” was such a vibe. It’s a captivating segment where each line bonds with the track’s rhythm. Ultimately, it has a pleasant tempo that will get you excited and hoping for more. With that being said, Tess Anderson’s stellar pop-rock tune should definitely be on your radar, and I urge you all to go hear it.
