RAVEENA’S “LOVE OVERGROWN” MUSIC VIDEO FEATURES SALEM MITCHELL. The model takes on the role of the singer’s love interest.
Raveena returns with the psychedelic music video for “Love Overgrown,” after making history as one of Coachella’s first Indian-origin performing artists. With an ultra-saturated future world as the backdrop, the two, played by model Salem Mitchell, find themselves in the throes of a passionate relationship.
Mitchell and the R&B and soul singer embrace and fight in Bollywood-inspired midriff-baring outfits while sporting Euphoria-inspired makeup in the shape of abundant facial jewels and geometric silver eyeliner. When they lock lips, the duo transforms into technicolor points.
“I don’t need your apologies/I don’t need any waterfall/I don’t need midnight beg and call, no/You enjoy a large reaction/You claimed it feels more passionate/You love my fury, you said it turns you on/You know that’s bad, huh,” Raveena sings on her sophomore album, Asha Awakening.
