In the latest video with Cozz, Lute sees โEye to Eye.โ The song may be found on Luteโs โGold Moufโ album from last year.

Lute, Dreamvilleโs very own, debuted his Gold Mouf debut record a few months ago, a 13-track body of work that features labelmates J.I.D, Cozz, and Ari Lennox, as well as Saba, Westside Boogie, BJ The Chicago Kid, and others. Since then, fans have had the opportunity to hear the music performed live at Dreamvillefest earlier this month, but Lute has now returned to present another video from the project. The introspective new clip for โEye to Eyeโ featuring Cozz, directed by Gabe Hostetler and Khairi Christopher, has the two musicians letting out some feelings in a therapy session:
I hate on no more โbout who lookinโ down on me,ย who proud of me?ย That reassurance would be nice to know Iโm killinโ things/ Been goinโ through the motions, โcause lately I ainโt been feelinโ things, been to myself more, the music always healinโ things/ I watch close friends react to me in situations and n***as act like they ainโt got the patience, whack
Lute most recently appeared on D-Day: A Gangsta Grillz Mixtape, which included the whole Dreamville lineup and was hosted by the legendary DJ Drama. On songs like โLike Wine,โ Lute delivered some bars.
Cozz dropped his Fortunate EP a few months ago, which features seven songs and a single YG feature. Cozz teased fans with singles like โAddictedโ and โTitle Trackโ in the lead up to the albumโs release. Cozzโs most recent full-length album, Effected, was released in 2018, and before that, Cozz & Effect. Meanwhile, he may be heard on the iconic Revenge of the Dreamers compilations dishing out show-stopping verses. He handles โLamboTruckโ with Reason and Childish Major, โ1993โ with J. Cole, JID, EarthGang, Buddy, and Smino, and more on that set.
