Rest of Me by Ozz Gold: Review
The Las Vegas DJ and Producer Ozz Gold inspire and liberate the dancefloor with his new single Rest of Me.
Following his debut single, Unknown, Ozz Gold is back with another banger to set the dancefloor on fire. This classic progressive house-inspired vocal-driven dance music may remind dance fans of the likes of Kygo or Alesso; or even Swedish House Mafia. The vocal and lyrical aspect of the song gets the same attention as the instrumental parts. Lyrically the song is about leaving something or someone that no longer helps you grow and on top of that starts putting you down. It is about breaking free from the chains and standing up for yourself.
The vocals are in the forefront of the song but the other instruments are arranged so beautifully around it, especially the tension in the build-up and the breakdown of the hook is just perfection. From the starting piano notes the song starts building up energy with every measure and shoots it across the hall to set the dancefloor on fire. Itโs perfect for any dance party or even your gym playlist. The upbeat melody will surely have you both dancing and pumping.
