Rhett Dela Cruz drops inspirational new song ‘You Are My Strength’
‘YOU ARE MY STRENGTH’ is a song for anyone battling depression as well as for anyone who feels worn out and ready to give up on their dreams. This brand-new song’s bright, catchy tune and effective fusion of alternative-rock and pop genres take listeners on a journey of hope in the midst of adversity.
Rhett battled anxiety and depression after failing the Toronto Nursing Board Exam in 2017. Rhett believed that despite his sacrifice, sleepless nights, and laborious preparation, it would never be enough. Rhett was in complete heartbreak and just wanted to give up.
Rhett wrote this song as a prayer and a reminder that even in the midst of our struggles, God is in charge and is our miracle-worker. He finally passed his board exam on his second try thanks to this song, which has helped him to put all of his worries and concerns behind him.
