NevilleSounds is back with a bang, or more accurately, right on cue, with his cheeky new single “Right on Time,” and it clocks in perfectly. Dropped on April 18, 2025, this London-born rock jam is a witty, high-energy anthem for the chronically punctual, and somehow makes that sound rebellious. The track kicks off with a dramatic drum roll, playful horns, and cymbals that shimmer like someone just announced the arrival of rock royalty. Then in comes Aaron Neville’s voice, thick, charismatic, and completely in command, delivering each line with a mix of sass, swagger, and that warm vibrato.

It’s got all the classic rock ingredients: gritty guitar riffs, piano punches, and thunderous drums. There’s something very British about its self-aware charm, like if Queen and Arctic Monkeys had a tea-fueled jam session about being on time. The vocals soar with an impressive range, at times soulful, at times belting with sheer power, but always grounded in that signature NevilleSounds tone. The backing vocals float in like sunshine through pub windows, and when the guitar solo drifts in, it’s electric. It’s a reward for sticking around.

Recorded between France and London, the track has a tight, international polish without losing its garage-rock heart. The chemistry between the McLenehan brothers on drums and guitar is fire, and the production is clean without sanding off the grit.
