FVRIA come charging in with “Rot Slowly,” a vicious collision of nu-metal, electro-industrial grit and rap-metal aggression that wastes no time pulling its punches.
Hailing from Switzerland, the band work with a sound that feels deliberately abrasive, where crushing guitars, deep 808s and electronic pressure collide in a wall of noise built to rattle speakers and shake up the pit.
The track leans heavily into its grinding distortion, with thick, gritty guitar tones chewing through the mix while a deep, weighty bassline gives everything an extra dose of menace. Heavy, thumping beats keep the momentum locked in, and the cymbals splash across the arrangement like sparks flying off a machine pushed well beyond its limits.
When the vocals finally come crashing in, that high, sharp female voice cuts straight through the murk with an unmistakable sense of rage and frustration. It adds another volatile layer to the track, turning its already punishing sound into something even more confrontational. FVRIA seem intent on making every element hit harder.
Fans of Ho9909, Scarlxrd and Atari Teenage Riot will find plenty to latch onto here. “Rot Slowly” brings metal’s sheer physical force together with rap’s attitude and electronic music’s industrial pulse, creating a dark, uncompromising blast of sound. FVRIA aren’t interested in playing nice; this is pressure, fury and distortion delivered without apology.
