Russ Joins Logic For New Single “Therapy Music”. The song comes after the release of two new tracks, ‘Decades’ and ‘Tetris.’
Russ has been enlisted by Logic for a thrilling new tune called “Therapy Music.” The reflective song examines how ego fuels society, and both artists attempt to subvert that feeling.
“I keep my ego in check, just me and this instrumental pumpin’ through this tape player,” Logic raps on the single. Money does not reflect my status. I’ve seen cats with egos bigger than cruise ships lose it/ Yeah, Logic rose from jack, but even the Titanic sank/ Take advantage of your position of authority.”
The song follows Logic’s release of two new songs last month: “Decades” and “Tetris,” which were each accompanied by a music video.
The simultaneous releases of “Decades” and “Tetris” coincided with the revelation that Logic and Wiz Khalifa will co-headline Live Nation’s Vinyl Verse Tour 2022 this summer, with special guests DJ DRAMA, C Dot Castro, and Fedd the God.
The 28-city Vinyl Verse Tour 2022 takes off July 27 at FivePoint Amphitheatre in Irvine, CA, and will be Logic’s first major road trip since his 26-city Confessions of a Dangerous Mind Tour of North America in October-November 2019. The tour will make stops in Houston, Atlanta, Brooklyn, and other cities around the United States before closing off on September 2nd at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in St. Louis.
Logic’s first new music since a five-week blitz of Friday advance track releases in early summer 2021 – including “Intro,” “Vaccine,” “Get Up,” “My Way,” and “Call Me” – leading up to the July 30th release of Bobby Tarantino 3.
The album was released five years to the month after the original RIAA gold Bobby Tarantino mixtape, which reached No. 2 on the Billboard Top Rap Albums chart and No. 2 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart in 2016. It featured Logic’s first RIAA platinum Hot 100 and R&B/Hip-Hop crossover smash single and video as a Def Jam artist, “Flexicution.”
