Se Non Ci Sei by Weiners: Review
Se Non Ci Sei is a shimmering Italian record performed in pop-rock by the band Weiners. With gut-punching lyrics that document the experience of a woman from facing the wraths and injustices of a world led by men to looking herself in the mirror and discovering her self-worth.
It boasts a versatile production, crisp layers of guitar riffs with shredding electricity, and equally booming drum work featuring the most sledgehammer beat in punk rock of the year. Not to mention, the retelling of the womanโs journey in the femme fatale vocals of the featured singer Giadaโs emotionally charged voice. Thereโs no doubt that even an acoustic version of this wouldโve been an emotional take, however, its energetic rock mix sends electricity through your veins and compels you to join in the chorus. The song is as catchy as it is magnetic for anyone, even beyond its Italian language.
Weiner is the dream child of none other than the talented Naples-born Italian bass player Fabio Gallozzi, who excels in his lyrical and melodic work besides being an instrumentalist. He wrote โSe Non Ci Seiโ from his own imagination of a powerful woman, and the final output proves his years of experience and expertise in fusing different genres to create masterpieces.
