Send Me Higher by Sugar Nova: Review
Sugar Nova’s “Send Me Higher” is a poptastic track full of color and style. The elements of Nu-disco present in the song create an exciting atmosphere full of “feel-good” vibes, where the music keeps flowing to make you groove.
The singer Rachel Eisenstat has a voice perfect to make a guy stand up and ask his favorite dame for a dance. It was quite stellar to hear the funky segments from the guitar verses. The disco-style strumming surely complements the deep bass lines! While listening to “Send Me Higher” I couldn’t help but wonder how gratifying the track would sound with larger speakers and a vivid room made for dancing the night away. Aside from this, I found it particularly awesome how the synths paved the way for a more energetic chorus. Speaking of the chorus, it paints a scene of enchanting encounters with lovers on the dance floor, and quite spectacularly I must say.
“Send Me Higher” is a spicy track from Sugar Nova that manages to mix nu-disco with pop, and create a brilliant combination of the two. The main essence to dance music is you gotta make everyone move to the beat. In that respect, Sugar Nova has masterfully composed a track to ignite the passion within a dancer’s soul. Finally, my heartfelt appreciation towards Luke Miller and Rachel Eisenstat who are the powerhouse behind Sugar Nova!
