Shruumi drops blazing new song ‘Coin in the Fountain’
Shruumi strives to create upbeat, sad/dark music for those who are lost and believe that happiness is a long way off. The new single from Dallas-based artist Shruumi, ‘Coin in the Fountain’, is laced with mellow guitars and builds to a rousing punk guitar. A few big drops and beat cuts with more trap-like drums are preceded by this track’s understated drums.
This particular song, which has a melodic pop-punk rock vibe, is about falling in love with someone even though you know deep down they aren’t the right person for you. Despite this, you still feel that trying to love them is better than never falling in love at all. The lyrics tell a story of arguments and disagreements and are very well-written. This song conveys the idea that Shruumi is unyielding and understands how easy or difficult it is to give upโit all depends on the outcome of a coin toss.
