Simple by Cielo Pordomingo: Review
“Simple” is an evocative avant-garde track by Cielo Pordomingo accompanied by a visually striking music video. The song’s rhythm has strong ties with electronica and the ambient genre. Hearing it from start to finish had a meditative vibe, an aspect that the music biz needs more and more nowadays. Aside from this attribute, Simple’s emotion is captured by a mysterious singer guaranteed to calm your nerves.
Cielo Pordomingo’s hymn is intense and carries a soulful presence along. There’s no denying the artist’s tenacity and melodic craft because there’s such a polished attribute to her track “Simple.” There’s a delicate flow in the artist’s voice that synergizes with ambient synth pieces to form a lovely trance. It’s the type of music one hears while observing a vivid canvas, or a vibrant photograph all the same. Cielo’s melody arrives with thought-provoking elements and distinct soundscapes. Particularly, this is where the avant-garde genre finds its place. The song’s structure is a tad bit experimental, especially the main rhythm and fillers, so altogether it adds a nice effect pertaining to that genre.
As stated earlier, “Simple” has a colorful music video, that was pretty fascinating to watch. See, I’m an avid fan of kaleidoscopic imagery and psychedelic art. It’s an exploration of a person’s inner thoughts and letting a paintbrush guide the way. With that being said, “Simple” is a fresh take on the experimental and ambient genre with vast potential.
