Sober Morning by Prairie Sound: Review
“Sober Morning” is a pleasant piece imbued with country roots and chill-folk tunes. Composed and performed by the creative musical force Prairie Sound, who is sensational at their craft. Their music is a blend of indie-folk and the country genre, and the mixture should resonate with longtime fans of the genre.
A playful mandolin with an acoustic guitar shape the main essence of “Sober Morning,” and boy is it a wonderful sound to take in. The chemistry between these two instruments, alongside a deep bassline, was a lovely cadence. Indeed you can’t go wrong with such a serene musical format, and with such enchanting vocals tagging, it’s tough to dislike this track. I’m overjoyed to hear such an evocative piece, where songwriting and rhythm aligned beautifully. That being said, the aura of country roots and folk music is prevalent in Prairie Sound’s music. The themes are pretty natural, and with such an interesting genre blend at work, you’ll feel right at home hearing this tune on repeat.
Aside from these facets, another fascinating thought popped up. I’m an avid traveler, and the road experience is enhanced with the right soundtrack. Anything from folk, blues, and country will fit right into your journey. Hence, “Sober Morning” is no stranger to that aspect, and I suggest you all give this stellar track a go!
