‘Something To Someone’ is a new single by Dermot Kennedy. The Irish singer-songwriter is gearing up for a world tour as a headliner.
“Something To Someone,” a new single from Dermot Kennedy, has been released. The song is his first since his Top 20 UK hit “Better Days,” which was released in July.
Kennedy expounded on the song’s meaning in a statement about it, stating, “To be something to someone.” To be loved and to be loved back. What a soothing notion to know that no matter what you go through, no matter how lonely the world appears to be, you are still on someone’s thoughts. It’s the only option. I want everyone who hears this song to remember that they are loved.”
Kennedy is planning a major headlining world tour, which will commence out on May 16 in Fortitude Valley, Australia. The lengthy tour includes concerts as support for Shawn Mendes on the first leg of his North American tour.
