Sound of Thunder by Artificial Incline is that perfect storm of raw emotion, guitar strings, and tech-laced soul-searching. Hailing from Strathmore, Canada, this rising artist has dropped an emotionally-charged trio of tracks that sound like growing up, breaking down, and finding peace, all in three tracks.
The title track, โSound of Thunder,โ hits like a late-night drive through memory lane. It starts off mellow, the vocals dragging softly across tender guitar strums like someone trying not to cry โ and then BOOM. The drums hit, the voice rises, and suddenly youโre knee-deep in a storm of heartbreak and catharsis. Itโs cinematic, itโs sad, itโs bold.
Then thereโs โEasy as Breathing,โ the opener, which wraps you in soft strums and a grainy, sun-soaked voice that feels like your favorite sweater, comforting, slightly worn, but still full of charm. The vocals flirt with falsetto, gliding above gentle beats in a romantic and vulnerable way.
โBetter in Timeโ closes the mini-journey with a somber piano intro and a low, heavy voice that slowly gains momentum. This oneโs about healing, pushing forward, and singing through the pain. The beats come in like lifeโs punches, but the voice fights back resilient, determined, beautifully scarred.
Whatโs interesting is that the lyrics were first written by a 15-year-old Artificial Incline and later updated with the weight of real-life losses and first loves โ and it shows. These songs feel lived-in. And the quote that wraps it all up? โGood things take time.โ Damn right. Listen to them on Spotify.
