Space Dust by Life Is A Myth ft Miss Elm: Review
The universe, so vast and ever expanding, always makes us wonder about creations and how things are connected. Miss Elm and Life Is A Myth have joined forces and written a jazz-fusion song that describes the visible strings that hold things together in the universe, their newest release ‘Space Dust’.
Imagine yourself floating in zero gravity, going fast through space and a splash of space dust hits you in the face, ‘Space Dust’ will help you experience this feeling. Miss Elm’s soft, soothing and ethereal tone is like the universe calling you, enlightening you about the vastness and interconnectivity. With every note, she lures you in. You feel like letting go of your weight, suspended, following a calling so majestic and unnatural, her voice is like the sound of wind circulating around oort cloud that makes the meteors collide, break into tiny pieces, and rap you around like a warm cloak aiding your imagination; this is what ‘Space Dust’ will make you feel like.
A jazzy structure with electronic beats, Miss Elm’s folk voice with a moderate dose of synth sprinkled all over creating a unique sound that is neither jazz nor folk- something newer. The song stays consistent throughout with no drastic rise or fall in intensity, the exact reason why ‘Space Dust’ feels so ethereal and dreamy. It must be said that both artists have outdone themselves with the synergy they created in this song and gifted us with a timeless piece.
