Formed by four school friends who met in secondary school before officially launching the band in 2022, the group has quickly established itself within Kingston-upon-Thames’ thriving alternative scene. Following the dreamy shoegaze textures of “Provence,” this latest single takes a more direct route, tackling self-doubt, stalled ambition, and the struggle to be taken seriously while maintaining the band’s knack for memorable hooks and dynamic songwriting.
The song wastes no time pulling listeners into its restless atmosphere. A sharp, buzzing guitar motif cuts through the opening, immediately establishing a sense of urgency before the pounding drums arrive to reinforce the momentum.
