Sthamzen Releases Catchy Club Song “Munye”
Sthamzen and Brinsley Motsepa, pioneers of South Africa’s Deep House scene, have released a new club House single titled “Munye” on April 7th. It is an elegant track with a constant rhythm that’ll get you dancing. “Munye” displays Sthamzen’s extraordinary production abilities. Furthermore, the track combines this flawless rhythm with the gifted vocals of Brinsley Motsepa. This song is filled with harmony and is appropriately titled “Munye,” which is the Zulu word for “one.” Aside from that, the track was written and recorded at Dobby 4040 studio.
Sthamzen, a native of Danville, is one of the greatest talents to emerge from South Africa. Alongside this accomplishment, Thamsanqa (Sthamzen’s actual name) has been creating for nearly a decade, beginning in 2014 under the tutelage of close friend King Rockz, who introduced him to the complexities and art of sound engineering. His stage expertise is extensive, and the rising star has performed at highly regarded venues such as Capello, Point 1, Zebediela in Limpopo, Mamelodi, and O-Bar in Pretoria. Sthamzen’s viewers grew rapidly as a result of his participation in Red Square DJ competitions and online events. Brinsley Motsepa has collaborated with Sthamzen on many occasions, including the singles ‘Emini’ and ‘Munye,’ which will both appear on the forthcoming EP ‘Hi, Meet Me.’
