“Sunset Over The Empire” is Arch Enemy’s new video single.
Arch Enemy, a Swedish melodic death metal band, has released their previously announced new track “Sunset Over The Empire,” which you can listen to below, along with the accompanying music video. The song is featured on the band’s upcoming studio album, ‘Deceivers,’ which will be released on July 29th via Century Media Records (pre-order).
“Behold the ‘Sunset Over The Empire,’ the 4th single off our upcoming ‘Deceivers’ album!” said Arch Enemy’s founder and primary songwriter Michael Amott. This is a quicker tune with some crazy riffs and a constant pace that I can see being a “hit in the pit”! Lyrically, it’s one of those that, tragically, seems to ring more true with each passing day… ‘Words turned to war, brother against brother, another phony truce as people died…’
“The accompanying video was shot in Poland with the Grupa13 team and doesn’t slavishly match the lyrics but has a terrific message and mood in its own right,” he continues. Oh, and ‘Sunset Over The Empire’ will be released as a limited edition physical single on 7″ vinyl!”
