Taylor Swift Stars As Cinderella in Her Latest Music Video “Bejeweled”
Taylor Swift’s official music video for “Bejeweled” from her album ‘Midnights’ has just been released.
Swift plays Cinderella, or as she’s introduced in the title card, House Wench Taylor, in the self-directed video. Laura Dern plays her evil Stepmommy, and the Haim sisters play her spoiled daughters: Lady Este (who “wants the title”), Lady Danielle (who “wants the ring”), and Lady Alana (who “wants the d***”). Taylor Swift is a master storyteller. Her abilities as a director, writer, singer, dancer, storyteller, producer, performer, actor, and in every other field attest to her status as an Artist and an Icon. The ‘Bejeweled’ music video, like the classic fairy tale, centers on a ball where a handsome prince will win the heart of a beautiful young woman. “Instead of just showing up at the ball looking hot, you have to enter a talent competition – and if you win, you get the keys to your own castle!” explains Lady Danielle. And the prince’s marriage proposal!”
It’s how she took her darkest thoughts and experiences and turned them into something so beautiful. Her imagination and creativity have always been inspiring to her fans, as it takes a lot of bravery to share your heart with others, especially on such a large scale. Taylor Swift released her first album when she was 17, and she is still at the top of her game at the age of 32.
