The Formless Track Club Mixes by Arman Ray + Hyon Gak: EP Review

“The Formless Track Club Mixes” is a thought-provoking deep house EP by Arman Ray + Hyon Gak. It’s a mindful record filled with psychedelic storytelling and soul-stirring cadence. Each track takes inspiration from Zen Buddhism and is the limitless experience of sound expressed through a philosophical narrative. In addition to that, the music is pretty thrilling and makes you rush to the dancefloor as soon as the beat drops.
We start our enlightening journey with “Mind Habits – Mike Jolly Remix.” The track is a mixture of pulsating beats and heart-throbbing electro-bass. While the rhythm forms, a minimal vocal layer initiates. Each sentence feels like a guiding chant that leads your mind through a passage of EDM and meditation. The next track “Right Here Right Now – Sam Leuis Remix” has a bit of Eurobeat infused into it. This comes naturally from the synthesizer style and beat mechanics. In that regard, the piece befits the idea of memorable club nights in the heart of Europe. So far, each track on the EP brings elements of ecstasy and empowerment to mind. It’s an interesting combination where each bassline and verse instills a self-enrichment allure.
“Keep Us In Moment – Fat Mavis Remix” is the EP’s exit, and it goes out in style. This time around, it’s an all-out rave and everyone’s invited. The music makes you feel infinite, and it might escalate if you have the right partner by your side.
