The Ghost In Me by MADAME NEPTUNE: Review
The world of gothic music has a refined taste to it. MADAME NEPTUNE’s “The Ghost In Me” is one such track that sends an invitation into the artist’s delightful dark realm. After hearing each melodic section of the track, it felt like a sinister plot unfolding in a horror film. The allure of MADAME NEPTUNE’s voice is a spell that will captivate you as she blends a spectacular style of spooky and moody.
Successfully awakening the monster underneath your bed and approving “The Ghost In Me”, is a clear indicator that the song must be a gothic masterpiece. Interestingly, when you think of gothic rock, you immediately picture brutal metal riffs and plenty of vocal growls. However, MADAME NEPTUNE incorporates this alternative rock vibe into the entire premise. In addition to that, the track has demonic guitar sections that have a very evil tone, and it is outstanding to hear.
As the song’s structure goes, “The Ghost In Me” takes it up a notch with its vocal elements through spine-chilling laughs in various segments that add a theatrical outlook to the track. The singer takes up an eerie personality, and the instrumentation follows with that same intent. “The Ghost In Me” captures the very definition of “scary” with its exquisite piano sequences. It has a familiar vibe going on with the theme of “The Addams Family”. In conclusion, a piece of advice, anytime you feel frightened, recall the melody of “The Ghost In Me” by MADAME NEPTUNE, your demons shall groove out of pure bliss.
