There is something truly special about the upbeat tempo of the track “The Last Word” by Stephanie Phillips, although there is a tragic meaning behind it. She composed the track to honor the departed. Her poetic sense and melodic bravado truly shine on this track, and upon hearing it anyone can deeply understand her expression.
In Stephanie’s track “The Last Word” she beautifully captures the personality and stories of the people that need to be remembered. Aside from that, the instrumental atmosphere of the track is quite minimal. At the center of the melody is just an acoustic guitar that is strummed with a lot of passion and heart. There are some light percussion elements, and overall it’s quite pleasant to hear. The track is truly a musical testament that violence has a toxic presence in society. Hence, I stand with the artist as well as every human being that restrictions should be made to prohibit it.
“The Last Word” has a profound sense of lyricism, and it’s quite incredible how Stephanie combined each word so graciously into her singing and playing. There are some harmonies in the track and adds these subtle details bloom throughout the track. The upbeat nature of the song surely does ignite hope within me, and I believe will resonate at a similar pace with all you dear listeners. Stephanie’s melody and words have a very bright effect, and her soothing voice will calm anyone.
