The Only Way Out Is Through by Tison Duni: Review
Swedish guitarist and composer released his second full-length studio album titled โPoets & Adventurersโ. The Only Way Out Is Through is the second song of the 8-track album.
Compared to the rest of the album, the song embodies a different voice in its tone. The song embodies a calm, tame and comforting vibe in its arrangements. The guitar is clean and uplifting. When asked about the song the artist said, โI wanted to make something with at least a small nod to โThe Quiet Courageโฆโ because I really liked a lot of elements in that song, and this is it. It is crammed with melodies, small and big. It is a song for when times are hard, and this can cheer one up, to get the energy to continue. I imagine the chorus as the spark that gets you on your feet again.โ
The song in its essence succeeds in expressing the artistโs intention. The clean guitar melodies heartily welcome the listener and give them a sense of comfort. The strings in the background add a warm atmosphere to the sound and the minimalist drums uplift the spirit. When compared with the style and composition of the rest of the album, this emotional track stands out and shows the versatility the artist is capable of.ย
